Surrender With Care Adopt With Love
It is the Newfoundland Rescue of Florida's belief that Newfoundland Rescue dogs should not be acquired casually or disposed of lightly. However it is recognized that sometimes circumstances change and the Newf is found to be unsuited to his or her present home. For that reason, Newfoundland Rescue's become available for adoption from many sources including current owners, breeders, humane shelters, animal control agencies, veterinarians, etc. and are fostered by volunteers across Florida with the hope of finding their forever new home.
Once you decide to relinquish your Newfoundland dog to our rescue, they are placed in an approved foster home until an appropriate permanent home is found. We use this time to get them vetted, but more importantly, to get to know your Newfoundland so our rescue can find them the perfect forever home they deserve. By trusting our rescue with your Newfoundland and allowing them to find love again with a new family, we know they will go on to live a full and wonderful life.
Available Newfoundland Rescue Dogs
The Newfoundland dogs listed below are in various stages of our rescue process. If you are interested in a particular Newfoundland, please complete the Foster application on our Foster page or the Adoption application below for that rescue dog, and a coordinator will contact you to begin the process.
Please complete an Adoption Application if you want a Newfoundland Rescue dog with a specific gender, age, or trait. We will begin working on your application, so you are all set when a dog becomes available.
