Newfoundland Rescue of Florida (NRF) is operated by the Newfoundland Club of Florida (NEWFFLA) as a separate 501 (c) 3 non-profit orginization and are both recognized by the Newfoundland Club of America (NCA). We are a volunteer organiztion committed to providing safe and healthy environments in foster and forever homes for Newfoundland rescues in Florida.
Surrender Your Newfoundland Rescue
Surrendering your Newfoundland to the Newfoundland Rescue of Florida can be one of the hardest decisions most people will ever make. It's also one of the most selfless things most people can ever do for their Newfoundland because it's done with their best interests at heart.
We understand your Newf may not be perfect, but the more we know, the better we are able to find the right new home for your Newfoundland Rescue. Whether a puppy, one who is in mid-life or a fully mature adult, your Newf Rescue deserves a second chance to find a wonderful home, and we are here to help you accomplish this goal.
Once you decide to relinquish your Newfoundland dog to our rescue, they are placed in an approved foster home until an appropriate permanent home is found. We use this time to get them vetted, but more importantly, to get to know your Newfoundland so our rescue can find them the perfect forever home they deserve. By trusting our rescue with your Newfoundland and allowing them to find love again with a new family, we know they will go on to live a full and wonderful life.
We Need Your Help
The Newfoundland Rescue of Florida operates solely on donations. There are no paid positions, and we rely exclusively on volunteers to foster, call references and provide transportation. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation and/or volunteering your time to help rescue Newfoundlands in Florida.
